Like your optimism, but I think we're nailed on to be 7 out of 7 losses after the next 3, as the defence and midfield protection is that bad that I doubt it can be fixed that quickly.

Last season i predicted ( to my toffee mate ) the out-of-form / on-the decline Rooney to get a hat-trick and as we know he duly obliged.

Was in the boozer right near the stadium after the game one year and some cunt came in with a dead cat he'd found run over outside and was swinging it above his head by it's tail.
Definitely one of the oddest things I've ever seen in a pub and lent substance to the 'you find a dead cat and you think it's a treat' line!
1-0 win that day, Timmy Breaker with the winner :o)

Wild horses wouldn't drag me up to that shithole again. Seen us thumped 6-0, in fact it's best to remember the wins, it will be a lot shorter post, um, well theres, oh yes Timmy Breaker wasn't that new year or something I remember being asleep in a car on the way up with a monstrous hangover, mind you that doesn't narrow it down at all.
Best one I can remember was back in the days when 150 of you going to an away game was a big crew. Back in 1972, I was a mere slip of a lad of 15, we went up there and won 2-1 with goals from Clyde Best and Sir Trev, Clyde's goal was a beauty, I was also threatened with death by several scousers very close by protected by a very thin blue line of 1 young looking scouse copper who, from the way he was smirking, looked more inclined to join in than stop any beating. Always grateful for a couple of big horrible looking cockneys next to me who shut the detestable little cunts up and had the copper go from smirk to shitting himself in very short order. Happy days.
